On 12 October 2010, the AERES welcomed a Vietnamese delegation paying special attention to the French research system.
How is research evaluated? What experience does France have in this field? What is the scoring process? Such were the questions asked of Pierre Glorieux, Head of the AERES' Department for the evaluation of research units.
The following were represented: the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies (NISTPASS), and the National Assembly's Committee of Science, Technology and Environment of Vietnam.
